Work continues to progress. Unfortunately, there is currently an economic crisis prevailing in Malawi – fuel shortages. This has resulted in costs/prices of goods and services to skyrocket. This situation has affected the progress of on-going work on site. The contractor is unable to utilize the back-hoe machines to aid in the excavation process, thus resorting to manual digging. That notwithstanding, considerable progress is being made as the morale of the workers on site is very high.
